It's been a long process, but finally the revamped drutopia.org site is ready. It's a standard Drutopia build highlighting what you could do with a Drutopia site for your organization.

In a recent blog post, Drutopia co-lead Rosemary Mann highlighted how to use Skins on a Drutopia site. Here we take a deeper dive, looking under the hood at the requirements the Skins module meets and how to write a new skin.

Drutopia distributions are a great way of collectivizing people, who share similar needs, to build powerful and flexible Drupal sites that are more affordable to maintain. Originally built under the guidance of the city of Cambridge, MA, Find It is a distribution of Drutopia that makes it easier for a community to coordinate and share all of the events and services available to its members. I wonder which city will adopt the Find It approach next.
